With over two decades of experience as a distinguished Sports Leader and Strategist, Brian Rosario has driven the advancement of athletic departments, the growth of sports organizations, and the development of athletic leadership. Believing strongly that sports can catalyze societal transformations, Rosario is dedicated to creating opportunities for underrepresented athletes, particularly in women’s sports.
As a recognized Thought Leader committed to societal change, Rosario shares his insights on adaptive leadership and strategic communication to enhance team dynamics through his TEDx talk, “Relational Coaching.” He also inspires and equips others to become catalysts for change, educating coaches and leaders on how the diversity within sports teams can exemplify and drive societal transformation.
At the collegiate level, Rosario has successfully championed women’s basketball Division I teams at prestigious institutions, including California State University Long Beach, Pepperdine University, Loyola Marymount University, Cornell University, and McNeese State University, as well as guiding the resurrection of a dormant program at Chandler-Gilbert Community College.
As an active member of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), he has uplifted initiatives being part of the Social Justice Task Force and has served as a Coaches Representative on the Board of Directors. As a board member for educational organizations in his community, he advocates for inclusive environments that support personal and professional growth.
Dedicated to guiding sports leaders and organizations towards excellence and influence, Rosario has made significant contributions across community organizations and collegiate institutions in roles such as Advancement Officer, Sports Information Director, Major Gifts Officer, and Governmental Affairs Coordinator. His skilled management of fundraising campaigns, major gifts, and governmental relations has significantly strengthened community ties. Additionally, his expertise in marketing, communications, and board relations has fostered a culture of success and cultivated effective internal team dynamics through his relational leadership style.
Holding a Master’s degree in Education from the University of the Cumberlands and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego, Rosario’s academic credentials position him uniquely at the intersection of sports and business. His profound passion for sports, deeply rooted in family tradition, fuels his vision of a more connected and empowered world—a vision he believes can only be realized through the unifying power of sport.
