Jaime Brown is a visionary DEI Strategist and Consultant committed to fostering equitable change from the ground up. Specializing in transforming local governance, community education, and organizational environments, she develops strategies that empower individuals and cultivate inclusive cultures across government, nonprofit, and for-profit sectors. As a seasoned Corporate and Non-Profit DEI Consultant, Brown drives enhancements in programming, people engagement, and community impact, reshaping organizations from the inside out. Her efforts range from mobilizing diverse talent to creating initiatives that revolutionize organizational values, embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion to strengthen organizations and extend their community impact.

In her role as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategist for the City of Concord, Brown integrates DEI practices across a team of 1,200 employees and her broader North Carolina community. Her strategies enhance community relations by strengthening bonds and expanding access to resources, ensuring equitable opportunities for residents. With a focus on empowering disadvantaged, BIPOC, veteran, and female residents, Brown supports their roles as business owners and leaders through certification workshops and advocating for fair hiring practices to diversify local workplaces.

At Georgetown University, where she was an Instructor and Director, Brown received multiple awards, including Staff of the Year and New Professional of the Year. In addition to boosting organizational dynamics through DEI training and inclusive strategic initiatives, she coached emerging leaders to access opportunities beyond the university. 

Brown holds an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, a Master of Arts from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University. Her academic credentials are complemented by certifications in Strategic Management and Women’s Entrepreneurship, which further enrich her comprehensive approach to leadership and organizational development.

Outside her professional roles, Brown is a certified yoga instructor who leads a popular outdoor fitness series, blending her passion for wellness with her expertise in leadership. A New Jersey native and mother of three, her extensive international travel to 46 states and 17 countries enhances her global perspective and reinforces her commitment to social justice, driving her to create a more inclusive and equitable world.
