From account executive to director of operations to associate commissioner, Jordan Confessore has been the point person for major events, delivering seamless, enjoyable experiences on and off the court.

Currently the Senior Associate Commissioner of Men’s Basketball for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), Confessore provides direction to maintain academic integrity and athletic excellence for the MAAC’s 11 collegiate institutions. She executes major events, like the NCAA conference, and leads strategic planning and operations for the MAAC Basketball Championship. Confessore oversees compliance and NCAA policies, negotiates bids for athletic events, and expands the organization’s reach with unique international experiences.

As an Account Executive at The Gazelle Group, Confessore advised and consulted administrators for various Division I college basketball tournaments, as well as other sports & entertainment events. She also drove target sales goals, strategic operations, and marketing efforts.

This former student-athlete has always held academics and athletics with great esteem and appreciation, which has aided her focus and enthusiasm to improve both collectively. As a sports leader, Confessore strives to increase the impact of student-athletes and enhance the collegiate athletics experience while inspiring and entertaining communities with the activations she envisions and creates.

Confessore’s confidence, relatability, and value in establishing organic connections speak to her unique leadership approach and professional success. She leads by example, and people trust her direction and insight. Approachable and knowledgeable, Confessore is often sought after by young professionals in and out of the sports sphere.

Through Confessore’s own experience as a standout basketball player, her Bachelor’s degree in Sports Media from Ithaca College, and her Sports Management Distinguished Young Alumnus award, her credibility as a trailblazing female leader is indisputable. Confessore is intentional about creating a positive student-athlete experience while leading the way for other women leaders in the sports conference arena and beyond.
