Stacey Delo

Stacey Delo is a transformational thought leader, author, speaker, and activism-driven journalist on a mission to fuel social change around the world. Her background as a Senior Multimedia Producer and Reporter at the Wall Street Journal Digital Network and “CBS MarketWatch” showcases her commitment to crafting stories that spark awareness and inspiration. With a career spanning over two decades, Delo consistently advances empathy and perspective, guiding others to realize their unique potential.

One of the most significant moments in her career was her work on The Ford Heights Four case, which overturned the wrongful conviction of four innocent men on Death Row. This experience ignited her commitment to unearthing societal inequities, biases, and barriers while inspiring and aspiring for change. Described by others as a ‘jactivist’–a journalist and activist, Delo continually uses communications, data-driven connections, and content to tell the stories the world needs to hear.

Her co-authored book, “YOUR TURN: Careers, Kids, and Comebacks – A Working Mother’s Guide,” has evolved into a broader coaching resource that empowers individuals from all walks of life to challenge societal ‘norms’ and follow their aspirations. And through editorials and publications, Delo advocates for diversity and inclusion while challenging individuals to broaden their perspectives.

As a sought-after speaker, Delo has delivered talks at notable events and organizations, including Google, LinkedIn, Federal Home Loan Bank, SHRM, the PR Council, the Pennsylvania Conference for Women, Professional Businesswomen of California, and the Watermark Conference for Women. Her media appearances include CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, Yahoo Finance, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and more.

Currently serving as the CEO of Après, Delo leads the growth of individuals through intentional coaching, networking, and storytelling. Previously, Delo developed, founded, and led Maybrooks to a successful acquisition by Après in 2017. The platform continues to track and solve for paid leave, childcare credits, flexible work options, returnships, and other life-changing events for those re-entering the workforce.

Her credibility is grounded in her academic achievements, including a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Master’s degree in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University. However, Delo’s unwavering dedication to empowering others to achieve career success and her ability to tell impactful stories that inspire positive change truly sets her apart. Her empathy and dynamic storytelling allow her to connect with audiences and make a meaningful difference for the greater good.
