As a C-Suite Executive, Founder, and Startup Advisor, Tara Cohen is reimagining global beauty through a multi-ethnic lens and human-centric approach. Over the past 30 years, Cohen has influenced innovation and strategy for over 20 brands, including Estée Lauder, MAC Cosmetics, Becca, Revlon, L’Oréal, Tom Ford, and Victoria Beckham, resulting in exponential, multi-channel growth for some of the world’s most influential beauty brands.
Most recently, Cohen led Creative Beauty as Chief Beauty Officer and founded Mixst Beauty, a startup incubator, to create space for fresh perspectives and inclusive market solutions in skincare and cosmetics.
Within the past three years, Cohen has guided the development of over 10 beauty brands while building brands of her own. And in support of her mission to create more possibilities for more people, Cohen is actively mentoring, consulting, and speaking to emerging industry leaders in support of international educational opportunities.
For Cohen, opportunity is found in the mix – the space where ideas, beliefs, experiences, or insights overlap. From barrier-breaking product lines to inclusive global strategies, Cohen is driving progress for creation and connection.

Inspired by her own experiences as a biracial woman, Cohen is contributing to a society where layers overlap, ideas intersect, and visions build. She believes as unique perspectives are shared, and new ideas emerge, people are empowered to mix up their way of thinking.
