As a seasoned Tech Executive, Public Sector Solutions Strategist, and Equitable Access Advocate, Teddra Burgess has been instrumental in driving digital transformation for government entities around the world. With over 25 years of experience in sales, engineering, business development, strategic partnerships, marketing, and operations, Burgess is committed to bettering the citizen experience through access, inclusive leadership, and people empowerment.
Currently, as the Managing Director of Federal Civilian at Google Public Sector, Burgess is at the forefront of providing leading technologies to federal civilian agencies in order to drive efficiencies and effectiveness for global citizens.
Her impact in the public sector spans over two decades, where she has fostered strategic partnerships and driven success as an award-winning executive. Her commitment to improving the ‘Citizen Experience’ is showcased through her enhancement of the suicide prevention program at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and her involvement in space-related federal projects at NASA.
She also advanced educational initiatives with the Department of Education, tackled global issues at the United Nations, and promoted international development with USAID. Domestically, her work with the Social Security Administration, the Office of the President, and the Office of Personnel Management reflects her broad impact on public services. Additionally, her engagement with the General Services Administration underscores her role in key government procurement activities.
Burgess’s previous roles include Senior Vice President of Public Sector at Tanium, Vice President at ASG Technologies, and various strategic positions at Micro Focus and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
