Wayne Robinson epitomizes the essence of transformative leadership—as a Dynamic Talent Transformer, Advocate of Empowerment, successful Entrepreneur, and Award-Winning Veteran, he crafts leadership paths that awaken potential and fuel purpose-driven endeavors.

Robinson’s alchemical leadership, grounded in self-reliance, empowerment, and a penchant for disrupting norms, positions him as the quintessential leader, uniquely equipped to drive advancement while inspiring transformative opportunities for the future. And as a seasoned Global Leadership Strategist, Robinson is ensuring our greatest leaders are leading our most critical industries, including healthcare, technology, and business.

In his pivotal role as Senior Director of Global Talent at Moderna, Robinson directs the brightest minds to pioneer revolutionary healthcare solutions, aiming to elevate global well-being. His visionary leadership is instrumental in cultivating industry leaders whose innovative work in developing transformative medicines is poised to redefine the benchmarks of medical innovation and set new standards of excellence in global health.

At Google, Robinson’s role was instrumental in growing the company’s premier leadership institute, The Google School for Leaders. While establishing the school as a builder of Google’s top leaders, he galvanized Google’s executive echelon, fostering strategic and adaptive mindsets to navigate global complexities. These transformative sessions went beyond mere skill enhancement; they redefined leadership excellence and established a benchmark for leadership development across the corporate landscape.

As a Management Executive at Deloitte, Robinson co-founded the Deloitte Resilience Academy, revolutionizing leadership development by emphasizing resilience and practical, on-the-job growth. This initiative marked a shift from conventional learning, integrating development into the business world’s realities to directly impact decisions and sharpen leadership skills.

Robinson’s approach to strategic leadership was developed throughout his 26 years of active military service, four of which were spent serving as a Command Sergeant Major, and his near decade of supporting veterans in the years to follow. As Robinson led the US Army as Command Sergeant Major for Joint Special Operations, he was awarded the Order of Saint Barbara and six Meritorious Service Medals for his indomitable spirit and integrity-driven focus.

Robinson’s experience inspired the founding of Vets in STEM, which set a benchmark in facilitating veterans’ transition into civilian life, particularly in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields. His strategic vision and drive have steered the nonprofit to target the ambitious goal of guiding 100,000 service members on their journey to STEM-related careers, thereby addressing critical skill gaps and enriching the workforce with the unique perspectives of veterans.

Elevating his advocacy, as President and CEO of Student Veterans of America, Robinson initiated the Million Records Project. This transformative program not only proved veterans’ commendable graduation rates but also revolutionized educational benefits, significantly expanding the GI Bill to encompass the dependents of fallen service members and crafting the Forever GI Bill, which additionally benefits 500,000 veterans each year and allows for an extra year of education for those pursuing STEM fields.

His advisory role with the US Department of Veterans Affairs has further broadened his impact, offering strategic counsel on programs that uphold the educational and training needs of veterans and their families.

Robinson’s expertise is further exemplified by his influential positions on various boards and his authoritative editorials in veteran-focused education and STEM. His thought leadership is amplified by his impactful contributions to Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) and the Military Service Initiative Summit.

Beyond his professional accolades, Robinson is a dedicated member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and previously served as a guiding force on the Board of Directors for Chicago Jesuit Academy, where he advocated for children and education.

Robinson’s academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with a focus on Entrepreneurship, and studies in Investments and Securities at New York University. He received certifications from MIT Sloan and The Wharton School, alongside leadership and strategic skills forged at the US Army Sergeant Major Academy. With his unique blend of education and experience, Robinson embodies the transformation that’s driving change and shaping the future of empowerment, innovation, and integrity-driven leadership.
