Sweeney is committed to people and passionate about promoting gender equity in leadership to ensure that consumers are best represented in the decision-making process that affects them. At Pinterest, she oversees the Women’s Employee Resource Group (ERG), demonstrating her extensive experience as a leader for women in the workplace.

Before Pinterest, Sweeney managed performance and brand products at Google, transforming their largest account and forging strong relationships with leadership, resulting in the first-ever joint business plan. She was also elected as a Google Stretch Facilitator, conducting leadership seminars for mid-career women multi-nationally.

At Bain & Company, Sweeney honed her general management skills and cultivated C-level relationships across industries, spearheading several high-impact projects. And at Starcom, she implemented global advertising strategies that exponentially grew international brands.

Throughout her career, Sweeney has been recognized with numerous accolades for outstanding leadership and is a sought-after speaker and lecturer with expertise in marketing, growth, and development.

While data powers Sweeney’s efforts, the influence she carries is immeasurable. Through her work with A Better Chicago and Precious Blood, two Chicago-based non-profit organizations, she advocates for solutions to societal root problems to create meaningful change.
