They specialize in LGBTQ+ Family Formation, adeptly handling Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and Second-Parent Adoption, while their expertise in Litigation & Dispute Resolution reinforces their commitment to transparent and honest client advocacy.

Englert’s leadership has been marked by dedication and innovation, reflected in their active memberships and contributions to key organizations. As a dedicated advocate for LGBTQ+ clients, they serve as Treasurer for The OUT Foundation, and as Secretary on the Executive Board for Partners for World Health, promoting health, inclusivity, and justice. Englert also holds memberships in the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association and the LGBT Bar Association of New York, amplifying their impact in legal advocacy. 

Furthermore, as a Contributor to the ABA Recent Developments in Business and Corporate Litigation, Englert brings valuable insights to complex legal matters. Englert’s former roles have been pivotal in shaping their expertise. Serving as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Maine Supreme Judicial Court and Assistant Corporation Counsel in New York’s Special Federal Litigation, they honed skills in high-stakes environments. Their time at the United States District Court for the District of Vermont and The Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Practice not only offered crucial insights into the complexities of justice and rights protection but also naturally complemented their passion for guiding families through the legal intricacies of family formation.

Englert uniquely combines their personal journey as an expecting queer parent with their professional expertise. Their experience in navigating the path to parenthood enriches their understanding of the evolving dynamics in health, parenting, and reproductive technology, driving their advocacy for inclusive family formation. Committed to representing non-spousal relationships and diverse family structures, Englert leverages their own parenting experiences to champion the rights of others in the LGBTQIA+ community to realize their own family dreams. 

Educationally, Englert’s journey from a pre-med track to a Juris Doctor at Vermont Law and Graduate School, with roles such as Symposium Editor for the Vermont Law Review, highlights their diverse interests and dedication to learning. Their BA in Philosophy and Spanish from Mount Holyoke College enriches their perspective, as does their bilingualism and passion for running.
