Nicole Britenriker

Nicole Britenriker is on a mission to reimagine ways to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion for greater impact. As a Founder, Purpose-Driven Executive, and Board Member, Britenriker leads with over 15 years of experience as an influential people, culture, and engagement strategist for forward-thinking organizations around the country.

Britenriker spearheads connections with a strategic diversity and inclusive lens that opens doors to bridge equity gaps. And she recently founded People Capital Co. to progress opportunities for the oppressed or under-represented, in and out of the workplace.

As the Vice President of Black Sports Professionals, Britenriker is accelerating the advancement, retention, and positive impact of Black professionals working in transformative industries nationwide through meaningful connections and bridge-building partnerships.

With a background in driving diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout organizations, Britenriker partners with leaders across departments and cultures to infuse strategies that advance equity through initiatives such as talent acquisition & management, business development, culture curation, and engagement, among others. 

As Senior Team Talent Advisor at the National Basketball Association (NBA), a 1200-employee organization, she advised HR leaders and business partners on the execution of DEI and people initiatives across the NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, and NBA 2K League teams. Driven by her inclusive knowledge-seeking ability, she champions self-awareness and understanding to drive culture and experience across departments.

While at LEARFIELD, a prolific collegiate sports media company that connects brands to 182M+ loyal fans across the US, Britenriker partnered with hiring managers across 200+ universities to diversify talent by developing highly specialized candidate pipelines and executing inclusive recruiting strategies. Additionally, she served as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force Co-Chair.

As a Board Member for Dallas Influencers in Sports & Entertainment (DISE), Resource Board Member for the Special Olympics, Member of the Junior League, and Mentor for Boys & Girls Club, Britenriker is a committed and intentional leader.

With a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Strategic Communications – Public Relations and post-graduate training in internet recruiting, strategic talent acquisition, and diverse recruiting, Britenriker is equipped to drive progress. And as a former Division I and professional athlete, she knows what it takes to propel teams forward. 

Britenriker is reframing how we think about diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is on a mission to lead people, organizations, and societies that align with her vision into a more equitable future.
