Tiffany Keaton

Tiffany “Tip Jones” Keaton is an award-winning Founder, Strategic Activator, Author, and unyielding Champion of Authenticity. Driven by a fervent desire to catalyze change, Keaton emboldens others to explore boundless possibilities, challenge prevailing norms, and ambitiously pursue their genuine desires.

Recently honored as a “2023 Top 25 Diversity Change Leader” by DiversityPlus Magazine and one of the “50 Most Dynamic Women of the Charlotte Region” by Charlotte Weekly, Keaton’s impact resonates across industries. Garnering awards like the “ICON of the Year” by Urban Tymes, she shapes spaces where authenticity thrives, ensuring that diverse perspectives anchor lasting success.

In her role as the Head of Business Diversity & Supply Chain Sustainability at the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America (TIAA), Keaton has pioneered a transformation in how the organization perceives and implements genuine business diversity. Rather than merely addressing the preconceived needs of diverse businesses, she underscores their intrinsic value. Her visionary leadership has not only diversified TIAA’s supplier base but also earned the institution the esteemed “Best-of-the-Best Corporations for Inclusion” accolade. And on an international scale, her trailblazing work has been lauded by the U.S. Pan-Asian American Chamber of Commerce, which honored her as a “Supplier Diversity Champion.”

As the enterprising CEO of Tip Jones Global, Keaton is spearheading a movement of confident and purposeful leadership. Her endeavors are deeply rooted in empowering Black women, mirroring the triumphs of her personal journey. She sparks curiosity and guides innovation, from budding entrepreneurs to esteemed enterprises.

Her entrepreneurial acumen is evident in pioneering ventures like One Dollar College, which she founded to alleviate student loan debt and grant full-ride scholarships to promising high school students. In addition to her ventures, Keaton authored “Get on the 7 Streams Team: How to Discover Your Multiple Streams of Income.” The book emphasizes the significance of diversifying income and offers readers practical advice on building a 7-stream legacy aligned with their passions.

She also established POSE Magazine, an avant-garde digital platform celebrating the “plus-size” community and addressing the needs of big & tall men and plus-sized women. Each of her endeavors underscores a singular mission: to uplift others, diversify decision-making, and magnify the immeasurable advantages of genuine diversity.

At the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Keaton’s contributions led her to become the Interim Board Chair, where she promotes scholarships for Minority Enterprises. As the Board President of the Carolinas LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce, she played a key role in forming partnerships for the Mayor’s Diversity & Inclusion Taskforce. Additionally, Keaton joined The National Society of Leadership & Success, a multi-million-member organization that emphasizes leadership and community impact.

Keaton furthered her education at Capella University and Morgan State University, and her extensive skill set is complemented by certifications in Business Diversity, Project Management, and Six Sigma. A Bronx native, she has experienced milestones such as interviewing the legendary Dr. Maya Angelou and appearing on “Monique’s Fat Chance.” Amidst these achievements, she gracefully juggles her role as a dedicated mother to five in North Carolina.

Keaton envisions a future where Black women stand undaunted, making purposeful decisions and taking bold strides towards realizing their dreams. She isn’t just advocating for change—she is the embodiment of it. As she illuminates the path to an inclusive future, she invites us to not only be spectators but active participants in a transformative tomorrow.
